Combustion

Axiom develops systems for combustion of carbon dioxide – methane mixtures with a very low methane content, for example offgas from high recovery biogas upgrading plants. The methane content in the offgas is usually between 0.5 – 2 mol% methane.

The system is characterized by a quick and easy start up. In a steady-state operation, the flame burns independently.

The specific energy consumption is lower than 0.01 kWh/m3 offgas. The methane emissions are in accordance with the German Gasnetzzugangsverordnung.
